Privacy Policy

Baseline placeholder only. This page must be reviewed by qualified counsel before public launch or collection of personal data.

Shoobook ("we", "us") operates this marketing website. This placeholder describes intended practices at a high level and is not legal advice.

Information we may collect

When you submit the quote form, we collect the details you provide: name, email, business name, optional website or social links, market, service interest, budget range, project details, and timeline. Optional brief fields may include industry, goal, platforms, project type, quantity, aspect ratios, and notes about existing assets. Server logs and basic technical data (such as IP address used for abuse prevention) may also be processed by our hosting provider.

How we intend to use information

To respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, operate and secure the website, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Email delivery processor

When lead delivery is configured, quote submissions are sent by email through a transactional email provider (Resend) to the business inbox configured by the site operator. Message content therefore passes through that provider under their terms and privacy policy. Quote requests that pass validation are stored as leads in the application database and are emailed only when email delivery is configured. Website chat messages, the name and email a visitor chooses to provide, and the page where chat started are also stored so the team can reply and link a CRM record. Chat does not send an email to the visitor.

Current lead-delivery status

The on-site quote form validates input server-side and, when environment credentials are present, emails a structured lead notification to the configured recipient. Auto-acknowledgement email to submitters is optional and off by default. Retention periods, international transfers, and processor agreements must be confirmed during legal review — this page does not invent certifications or retention timelines.

Website chat

If public chat is enabled, we store the messages you send, an opaque cookie that lets you return to your own conversation, and, if you provide them, your name, email, and optional business name. We use that information to reply in the chat, to prevent abuse, and to link the conversation to an existing lead or client when the email matches. We do not use your IP address or a browser fingerprint as your identity. We do not ask for a phone number. Please do not send passwords or sensitive personal information. This page does not set a retention period for chat messages.

Contact

For privacy questions after launch, use the contact page or the business email published at that time.

Analytics, referrers, and optional tools

The site records first-party events such as page views, quote and chat steps, and which service or portfolio page was opened. Payloads do not include passwords, quote text, or chat message bodies. A random visitor key may be stored in this browser's local storage. First-touch and latest landing page, referrer, and UTM values can be stored on a lead. Blank values do not erase a value already stored.

Google Analytics and a Meta pixel are optional. They are not loaded unless an ID is configured and you allow analytics or marketing cookies. If those IDs are unset, no banner is shown and those scripts are not added. Necessary cookies for sign-in stay on and cannot be switched off.

This is not a claim that a particular provider is active. Check the production readiness screen for what is configured. This page is still not legal advice.
